Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology & Yifa Future Designer Experimental Class Kicks Off, with the "Yifa Future Designer Industry Practice Program" Officially Launched!

In golden October, the Yifa Global Apparel Talent Training Base—Yifa Academy at B1 of Yifa Light Textile City—welcomed a group of new faces. On the afternoon of October 22, over 30 senior students from Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology (JIFT) officially moved in, and an opening ceremony was held. Over the next three months, they will undertake graduation practice courses here, extending their classroom from the campus to the frontlines of the fabric market.

At the opening ceremony, Xu Bin, Chairman of Yifa Commercial Group, delivered a welcoming speech. He warmly encouraged the students to focus on their studies and research, assuring them that Yifa will provide all resources and support to ensure they achieve success and gain practical insights. Shen Meng, Deputy Director of the Linping New City Management Committee, elaborated on Linping's strategic determination and layout to strengthen the fashion industry, affirming Yifa's exemplary value in pioneering and implementing industry-education integration. Zhang Xiaoqing, Director of the Employment Service Center of the Linping District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, interpreted Linping's relevant support policies for future college student employment and entrepreneurship, giving the students a more specific understanding of the local business environment.

Representing the academic institution, Zhang Ning, Dean of the School of Fashion Design at JIFT, and resident teacher Chen Fei delivered speeches, expressing their hopes that the students will deeply engage in practical training and advance both knowledge and action during this period. Notably, Zhang Shuai, one of China's Top 10 Makeup Artists and Founder & Design Director of the ZHANGSHUAI brand, also attended the event and shared his industry experience with the students based on his years of practice. Subsequently, at the "Appointment Ceremony for Enterprise Mentors of the Modern Textile and Apparel Industry College of JIFT," Dean Zhang Ning and Director Shen Meng presented appointment letters to five specially appointed enterprise mentors: Yu Kang, Liu Xiaoxiao, Lin Yuzhen, Zhang Huijie, and Zhao Mumu. Yu Kang, speaking as the representative of the mentors, sent his best wishes to the students and shared his unique insights into fashion design.

Industry-Education Integration: Bringing the Classroom into the Market
For students majoring in fashion design, stepping out of the campus and into the real market frontline is an essential path to becoming a mature designer. This practical training class is a concrete implementation of Yifa's efforts to deepen industry-education integration. The classroom is no longer confined to the campus; the teaching scenario has been directly moved to the source fabric and accessory market. Yifa is committed to providing a realistic industrial soil for young designers, helping them make the crucial leap from design sketches to commercial realization, and cultivating application-oriented talents that truly meet market demands.

Yifa Academy: Building a Growth Platform for Young Designers
Along with the successful opening of the JIFT experimental class, the "Young Designer Industry Practice Program" created by Yifa Commercial Group was officially launched. As a core project of Yifa Academy, this program carries Yifa's investment and expectations in the field of industry-university-research collaboration.
Yifa Academy is a public welfare platform dedicated to talent cultivation across the entire apparel industry chain. Adhering to the mission of "Cultivating practical talents and strengthening application capabilities" and the values of "Practicality, Implementation, Companionship, and Win-Win," Yifa Academy utilizes various formats such as practical training and school-enterprise study tours to enable young designers to understand materials, craftsmanship, costs, and product realization on the market frontline. Yifa's vision is to build this place into a highly sought-after practical training highland for global apparel talents.

Global Vision: Sino-British Youth Design Exchange Ready to Launch
Rooted in the local industry while embracing a global vision. As JIFT students carry out their practical training, Yifa's pace of international exchange is also accelerating.
On the upcoming October 27, Yifa Light Textile City will welcome a delegation of teachers and students from the University of Salford, UK, for a several-day international study tour. The 39 teachers and students will observe fabrics, select accessories, and connect with supply chains in real industry scenarios, experiencing the industrial and international appeal that Yifa embodies.

In the future, Yifa will continue to improve the construction of the "Yifa Global Apparel Talent Training Base" and looks forward to more higher education institutions and industry organizations joining in. Through school-enterprise cooperation, resource sharing, and complementary advantages, Yifa aims to conduct deeper and more diversified cooperation with universities. Yifa is willing to be the "first stop" on the journey of young designers pursuing their dreams, working together to continuously supply future design stars with market acumen and practical capabilities for the high-quality development of China's apparel industry.
